Zombie Poo, better known as cupcakes, is fun to make.  Between baking, cooling, and icing, you’re looking at approximately an hour before these are done. But they are sure cute and very worth the time and effort – your neighbors will be so impressed!

Ingredients:

• Cake mix, made into cupcakes
• 2 cans pink frosting (Betty Crocker’s pink Easy Flow icing is great!)

Directions:

Bake cupcakes according to directions on box, or use your own recipe.  Allow to cool.  You will want to pipe the pink frosting, so either make your own pink icing and use your own bag and tip, or Betty Crocker’s pink Easy Flow icing is great because it comes with different decorating tips – super easy.

You will be icing the cupcakes to look like brains (zombies do eat those, after all!)  Start by making a vertical line down the middle of the cupcake (this will separate the right side of the brain from the left).  Then start at the top of one half and make horizontal squiggly lines all the way down to the bottom.  Do the same to the other side.  It will take a little bit of practice (hence the suggestion for 2 cans of frosting!), but that’s all there is to it!
