Mummy Poo, better known as Tootsie Roll cookies, is fun and easy to make.  It will take you about 30 minutes to finish these unique treats.  Rolling the cookie dough around the Tootsie Rolls is definitely the best part!

Ingredients:

• Refrigerated suger cookie dough
• Midgee tootsie rolls

Directions:

Preheat oven as instructed on cookie directions.  Let dough stand to warm up a little – it’s more pliable if it’s a little warmer.

Take a slice and roll it into a strand. Flatten the strand a little, then wrap it around one of the tootsie rolls.  Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake as directed, though you will probably need to leave them in a little bit longer.  When they come out of the oven, take a knife to the tops of the cookies and gently impress lines, to make the “wrapping” more distinct.  Allow to cool, then remove to wax paper until completely cooled.
