Mad Scientist Poo, better known as rice krispy treats, is very easy to make and only takes about 10 minutes. The added gummy worm will make it a favorite with your kids and neighbors alike.

Ingredients:

• 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
• 1 package (10 oz., about 40) regular marshmallows
  - OR -
  4 cups miniature marshmallows
• 6 cups RiceKrispiescereal
• Green food coloring
• 1 bag gummy worms
• Buttered waxed paper

Directions:

In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.   Add green food coloring and stir until mixture is a consistent green color.

Add RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

Drop by scoopfuls onto waxed paper, then add a gummy worm to each scoopful.  Have fun positioning it in, around, and through the rice krispy treat.  Cool completely before serving.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:

In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Add green food coloring and stir until smooth. Add RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.. Microwave cooking times may vary.
